Ingredients:
- Pita bread : 4
- Chicken boneless cubes : 400 grams
- Sweet corn kernels : 1/2 a cup boiled
- Bell pepper chopped : 1/2 a cup
- Cucumber chopped : 1/2 a cup
- Tomato chopped : 1/2 a cup
- Iceberg lettuce : 8- 10 leaves
- Salt : to taste
- Red chilli powder : 1 teaspoon
- Ginger garlic paste : 2 teaspoons
- Vinegar : 2 teaspoons
- Tandoor masala : 1 teaspoon ( optional )
- Oil : 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise : 1/2 a cup
- Pizza sauce : 1/4 cup
- Cheese spread : 1 tablespoon
- Pepper powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Method:
- Marinate chicken with salt, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, vinegar, tandoor masala, oil . Place in a non-stick pan and cover it with a tight lid. Cook on low heat till dry.
- Add bell peppers and saute for a minute. Take off heat. Add cucumbers and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Add mayonaise, cheese spread and pizza sauce.
- Heat a pita bread on a griddle .
- Cut into two halves.
- Line each half with lettuce leaf and spoon in some chicken stuffing.
- Eat while still warm.
Cooking tip :
You can use roast chicken or any left-over chicken shredded.
