I love smoothies and having them for breakfast. Your recipes seem so finger-licking! Can I use maple syrup instead of honey?

Thank you so much for liking the post Agnes. Though honey and maple syrup are excellent substitutes to sugar and are almost similar in antioxidant properties they have their individual advantages. If you seek minerals and lower fructose, maple syrup is a good choice but for those who want the vitamin boost and no fat, honey is the best bet.
