Research  has proven that eating dates  has got great benefits for our nutrition and health.Dates are a good source of various vitamins and minerals whose importance as a dietary supplement was appreciated by the desert people who, for thousands of years, ate dates with goat or camel milk as a complete sustenance.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stressed the importance of dates as a major food item, saying, “People in a house without dates are in a state of hunger.” (Muslim)

I had everything you mention except the almonds and walnuts in my five-grain cooked cereal this morning – plus yogurt, orange juice, pear, pomegranate seeds, pineapple, and blackberries.

    Good stuff!
