If you are planning a Chinese dinner party, you are at the right place.I have here an interesting printable Chinese menu along with recipes you could use.
I know I am posting two Chinese dishes back to back (my last post was Chinese style potato) but the reason is,that I was planning a Chinese dinner meal combo.
Actually my sister-in-law who lives in the beautiful city of Roswell,Georgia suggested I post 5 course party menus from different cuisines with proper links to the recipes. It can be helpful, according to her, if someone is planning a theme party. It could save them some precious time. Here, I have to add that my sweet sis-in-law has been with me throughout my blogging journey, right from the start, giving me interesting suggestions and ideas.
When I looked up my Recipe Index, I discovered I had enough Chinese recipes to plan a complete dinner party (except the soup, which got accidentally deleted). So, I am starting with the Chinese dinner Party menu. Please find it after the Ginger Chicken recipe and do let me know how you like the idea.
This post is dedicated to you Sis ❤
Ginger chicken is one delicious dish which you find by default on the Chinese menu. Everyone has their own way of making it. This is how me and my family make it. It has lovely flavors in it and can be served with Chinese fried rice, noodles or even flat breads.

I had it once at a Chinese restaurant and tried making it at home. It turns out very well. I have not seen Chinese making many desserts.

I guess it follows the idea of baked Alaska?

Yeah probably. Though this involves deep frying a scoop of icecream. We have to be very quick with this one.

Thank you so much ☺ These recipes were done in a course of time. But we do have a lot of parties in our family because my inlaws are quite fun loving people and love to get together for every occasion. So each one of us needs menu ideas for 4 or 5 course dinners.

When ever we plan to host a party at home, I spend one whole day just deciding the cuisine and the menu. I always wish someone can do that part for me. Once the menu is planned the grocery shopping and mise en place dont look cumbersome . Actually I was looking for making menus from different cuisines .Thank you for the kind words Josette 💕
